Liz & Mike | November 11, 2017
Laurel Hill Wedding Photographer
Another awesome wedding! Liz and Mike don't live here, but they have roots here. Randy and Tracey opened up their home, land and hearts to the joining of these two... and their preparations were amazing. We had plans to meet over coffee the day before to go over the details and timeline. Instead, they invited me out to the property so I could get a feel for the place. The feels I had were nothing but love. I fell in love with the couple, the family, the hosts and the property! Randy and Tracey did an amazing job transforming their lifestyle into a wedding venue. I'm pretty sure I told them a few times that they should do this on a regular basis as they rocked it! The entire day went perfectly. I was sad to leave that night but I was so happy for this couple! Thank you so much for letting me be your photographer!
Victoria & Brandon
October 7, 2017
Hurricane Nate dumped several inches of rain on us on the day of Victoria & Brandon's wedding. However, it didn't dampen the day in the slightest bit. There were a couple of outdoor shots we didn't get to do. I think we more than made up for it with what we covered indoors. We started the day at Victoria's parents' home for the getting ready and detail photos. Before heading to the ceremony, we brought Brandon in for the "First-Look" of his bride (very soon) to be. At the East Chapel on Eglin AFB, Dorothy Schneider made sure the ceremony went smoothly and gave us a little extra time for group photos afterwards (since we weren't able to do them outside). So thank you Dorothy for that! And thanks to Shelby Peaden who made that flow way better than I ever could have. At Eglin's Bayview Club, the DJ from Rock the House kept the party going until the very end. Thank you to all the vendors who helped make this night as awesome as it was and a very special thank you to Victoria, Brandon and their families for letting me be a part of this special day. Congratulations!!!

2017 Solar Eclipse
Monday, August 21, 2017
I almost didn't go. I wasn't really prepared and just didn't feel like I would get any good shots. But I went anyway. I tagged along with my brother & mother on an excursion to Tennessee to watch the Solar Eclipse. We stayed in Chattanooga the night before where we studied apps & maps on our iPhones. We finally agreed on the little town of Niota, TN, which was right in the path of totality. I didn't think we really needed to start out so early, but we did. It turned out we probably should have left even earlier. Right about the time the sun came up this morning, we were in a truck stop parking lot thinking we were set for the day. It wasn't long though before management came out and started telling people we couldn't stay there. We were directed to Niota Elementary School who were very hospitable and where we had a perfect line of vision, plenty of shade and a plethora of fellow viewers from all over the country. By the time big event came around it was a truly amazing experience. I had goosebumps as totality made its peak. Meanwhile, I was clicking my shutter button like a crazy trigger happy maniac. It didn't last long, but the experience will never be forgotten. The pictures I managed to capture were very well worth the trek to include the hours of bumper to bumper traffic to get back home. Here's a little sample...

Through the Looking Glass... a Styled Shoot
Wednesday, March 22, 2017
A few months ago, Jeane with Jeane Cognac Designs, invited me to participate in another one of her Styled Shoots this month. I was really excited about this one as I'd get to go out of town for this one and work with some of the best wedding vendors in the Orlando area! Jeane went for an Alice in Wonderland and rocked it! I spent the first couple of days tagging along with Jeane (with the support of her husband Jason and soon to be 5 year old son (& future lady's man) as she handled her errands and preparations for the event. I witnessed only a portion what it takes to be a coordinator/designer and man... it's a lot of work! But I'll tell you, she gets it done!
The setting was at a wedding venue, The Sydonie Mansion in Mount Dora, where the owners, Amy and her husband have done an amazing job with its restoration. We had two models, Brooke and Riley, who were our Adult Alice & Young Alice and made this a magical day .
Additional magic performed by:
Coordinator/Florist/Designer: Jeané Cognac Designs
Additional Photographer: JR Sterling/Sterling Photography
Videography: Love And Lustre Weddings
Gowns: Something New Bridal Boutique
China/flatware: Dishie Rentals
Cake: Michael Anthony Cakes
Paperie/Menu/Invite/Tags: Chirp Paperie
Hair/Makeup: Glam Genies
Signs: Rust & Oak
I thank all of the vendors and models who contributed their talents and made this an awesome day!
Brianna & Tyler - Engaged!
Saturday, February 18, 2017
These moments are always are always fairytale-esque to me. Tyler contacted me a while ago and told me that he was going to propose to Brianna on the beach in Destin and we worked out the details well in advance. As the day approached, we had some less than favorable weather in the forecast and Tyler (and myself) were getting to be a little concerned. But the closer we got, the better is was beginning to look. I met Tyler's Mom, Dad and Sister at the spot and they had set up a beautiful arrangement in the sand. They hid behind fences when we got word that Tyler and Brianna were on the way. The energy in the air... you just knew what was about to happen. Although, Brianna still claims that she was surprised. ;)
However, Tyler pulled off what may very well be the best proposal I've had the honor of documenting.
Well done, Sir!

Morgan & Kyle: Engagement Photo Session in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Friday, February 17, 2017
Morgan and Kyle came down to Fort Walton Beach for a short stay and to have their engagement session done on the beach. They're such a happy couple. I don't think either one of them stopped smiling the whole time! Judging from her last email, I'm pretty sure Morgan is smiling right now. :)
"Hi Aaron!
Thank you so much for sending the link and print release, and again for doing the photoshoot! Kyle and I had a fantastic experience with you, and we love our pictures!
Sincerely,
Morgan"
Best wishes you two!

Vickie & Brandon... Engaged :)
Monday, December 5, 2016
Vickie & Brandon will be getting married in the fall of 2017. As part of their package, we held an engagement photo shoot at the place where they have their horses. It was overcast for most of the shoot, but the sun did come out to play for a little bit and we ended up with these gorgeous shots of this adorable couple... LOVE these!
October Styled Shoot
Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016
I had the pleasure of working with some of the area's greatest vendors and even a great vendor from Orlando. Jeane with Jeane Cognac Designs/Orlando, FL worked hard to put this styled shoot together. She was to visit the panhandle during Halloween and wanted to do a shoot with a Sleepy Hollow meets Glam sort of theme and asked if I would do the photography. After a couple of models just didn't work out, she finally talked herself into doing the modeling herself. I think she did a fantastic job!

This is a new thing for me. I neglect my facebook page, seldom tweet on twitter and I don't even know what I have on my Instagram. Yet, I've been feeling the urge to create a blog. So, this is it! Welcome to Beachfront Photography's Blog!
